Wizards to Launch Starship Battles
 BBG Newsroom - Star Wars fans, prepare for jump to light speed! Starship Battles, a new Star Wars Miniatures game featuring 60 iconic space ships from the Star Wars universe, will arrive in our universe soon.The game features skirmish-style battles that allow players to pit fleet against fleet in fast-paced, head-to-head action.
Star Wars Miniatures Starship Battles is the newest offering from collectible miniatures leader Wizards of the Coast. The game allows players to build their own fleet to take into battle and features the best vehicles from all eras of the Star Wars saga. For example, a fleet might include Jedi starfighters, Rebel transports, Star Destroyer capital ships or even Han Solo's prize, the Millennium Falcon!
Each Star Wars Miniatures Starship Battles Starter Set includes all of the components necessary to immediately engage in intergalactic dogfights. The starter game includes two exclusive 100mm-scale miniatures: the Super Star Destroyer Executor and the Mon Calamari Star Defender Viscount. Also included in the starter are eight randomized, fully painted, plastic miniatures, full-color stat cards, a two-sided battle map, two Fleet Commander cards, a rulebook, some damage and command counters, and a d20 die.

Starship Battles can be used in skirmish-level and mass-level combat scenarios and also can add a new dimension to Star Wars RPG games.
The Star Wars Miniatures Starship Battles Starter Set and Booster Packs will be available soon. The Starter Set will be available for a suggested retail price of $39.99. Booster Packs, which will include 7 miniatures at full-color stat cards, will be available for the suggested retail price of $21.99.
